Hi, I'm Chealsee!
Before I picked up a camera, I spent years performing — learning how to move with confidence, hold a room, and feel powerful in my own skin, even when it felt vulnerable. That's the exact feeling I help every client find in front of my lens.
I moved from South Carolina to Colorado to chase new adventures and continue to build the photography business I'd always dreamed of. I've been working in the art world for over a decade and for the last year I have been building Hope Photography from the ground up.
After more than a year photographing families, couples, and growing families, I can honestly say I love what I do.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation / reschedule policy?
Clients may reschedule their session one (1) time at no additional charge. Any additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a rescheduling fee. Please note that, in accordance with our cancellation policy, all session fees are non-refundable.
What is needed to finalize booking?
50% deposit is needed to book. Final invoice will be sent the day of the shoot. Final payment is due no later than 7 business days after the shoot. Gallery and sneak peeks will not be delivered without full payment. Sneak peeks will have a watermark on them if final payment was not received.
How does the referall work?
Refer a Friend & Earn 10%!
Once you've completed your session, you can start earning rewards by referring friends and family to Hope Photography!
When someone you refer books any session with me—whether it's a wedding, full session, or mini session—and pays in full, you'll receive 10% of their session fee as a thank-you.
All they have to do is mention your name when they book. Since you'll already be in my system, I'll know exactly who referred them!
You'll receive your referral bonus through Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or cash in person—whichever is easiest for you.
What if it rains?
We reschedule for free — no extra cost.
How many people can be in the session?
Immediate family — parents, kids, siblings (and pups!) Just shoot us a message before your shoot to let us know a pup is coming!
Do you travel to us?
These sessions will be held at Ute Valley Park at 1705 Vindicator Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80919. We will meet in the parking lot and walk to the trail head together.
When will we get our photos?
Sneak peeks in 48 hours. Gallery in 7 business days! The gallery will be delivered through a Pixiset link in your email. From there you can download the photos to your computer.
Do you accept tips?
We love tips and honestly, it goes straight back into the business whether it be new camera bodies, software, ads. etc. It truly helps us keep things running!
